What I do

My name is Sophie Rossitto, and I am a multimedia journalism major and a music minor at Harding University. During my studies, I have written articles about topics ranging from athletes who have overcome adversity to student leaders who have used their talents to serve the local community. I have also designed page layouts for the school newspaper and written broadcast scripts for the TV station on campus. My goal is to one day become an editor for a newspaper or magazine publication.

My articles are concise, engaging and carefully designed to let the sources speak through each sentence.

About Me

I fell in love with writing when I was a child, transforming scribbles on blank pieces of paper into homemade picture books. At Harding University, I have learned to cultivate my passion for storytelling even more, especially through working with so many like-minded people.

In college, I have also discovered my love of traveling! This photo was taken in January 2023 when I studied abroad in Greece for 10 days.

When I am not writing, I enjoy baking chocolate chip cookies, watching rom-coms, and doodling. I also play piano and have played clarinet in the band since I was in sixth grade.
